6 ways to obtain and maintain your FSC certificate

Smurfit Kappa Drogenbos maintains the FSC standards with flying colors. We achieve this in six ways.

  • CHAIN OF CUSTODY

    We are part of the multinational Smurfit Kappa. This means our enterprise is part of a “Chain of Custody” system. The origin of all recycled and produced cardboard is traceable. This guarantees the use of FSC cardboard!

  • PREVENTION

    No non-FSC cardboard enters our factory. Should this happen due to an error, the goods will be refused or returned. This is thanks to our advanced database that automatically indicates whether the cardboard come from a verified FSC source.

    We encourage suppliers to obtain an FSC certificate. Because when they have this certificate, we place orders with them!

  • TRAININGS

    Each department within Smurfit Kappa Drogenbos has its own FSC procedures and associated training. Our staff is trained annually.
